Exotic girls dressed up to thrill
Are on the way to Notting Hill,
And though my life is mess and stress
Their faces speak of happiness.
It’s good to know that life goes on
When all my certainties are gone
For when time mends my busted heart,
There has to be a place to start,
My precious star will shine once more
She’ll find a life she can adore —
When she’s complete I hope we’ll know
That Carnival’s the place to go!
