Magnolias

The bumble bees are buzzing off to dine
On nectar brewed in blossoms on the trees
So pretty as they dance before the breeze
Magnolias wait for Spring to pour the wine
      As daffodils and tulips intertwine
To bring the best from April’s early hours.
A busy buzz as insects fill the flowers
Magnolias wait for Spring to pour the wine
We’re here to witness winter’s swift decline
As nature sprints to conquer everywhere
Above my head there’s beauty all can share
Magnolias wait for Spring to pour the wine
The bumble bees are buzzing off to dine
Magnolias wait for Spring to pour the wine
