The night is alight and the dragons are flying
Tearing through clouds on their wings made of fire
The flashes of lightning so clearly implying
The season when dragons are lost in desire
The hailstones crash down from the clouds where they muster
Each pair mate for life but they still must display
As flashes explode from the cartwheeling cluster
The dragons build passion then flee from the day
Moon Glider and Flame Thrower fly from the others
They’ll consummate love in their own private lair
In time they are followed by sisters and brothers
Who stream from the clouds that are filling the air
Don’t cower in terror when skies rip asunder
It’s dragons in love that are making the thunder
