Melvin – Starting a diet

Martha the dragon is cooking a meal
For Melvin and Martha to eat
If you are a dragon you don’t need a stove
To provide all your cooking with heat
Melvin the dragon was slightly upset
To find that his clothes didn’t fit
Martha says maybe he’s putting on weight
Just the teeniest tiniest bit
So the dinner she’s cooking is good healthy grub
Which isn’t what Melvin would like
And Melvin is hoping to work up a sweat
He’s riding an exercise bike
If you are a dragon and you’re blue and you’re fat
And you don’t think that flying’s for you
Then starting a diet and walking to work
Are really the least you should do!
