Mondays

Mondays

I don’t believe that Mondays should exist
They only serve to undermine my mood
Though Saturdays and Sundays must desist
We need to keep the happiness accrued

Each face aboard my train’s behind a frown
The evidence that others think this way
A mournful army on its way to drown
Will join my fight to abrogate this day

And when we’ve won and Monday’s reign is through
The human race will wear a week-long smile
Until we find the day we gave to Tiw
Has now become our pathway’s broken stile

It’s seems that Monday’s plan must be admired
The only way to win’s to be retired!
