Moonlit loving

The silver moon shone shyly on two strangers on the sand
Whose lives were lost in love and lips and lust
We played the long lost melodies that moonbeams understand
And learned that we were lovers each could trust
The breath of love blew softly from the moon who hung above
Where you and I were learning all our ways
She smiled at us so sweetly as we swam straight into love
While perfecting all loves pleasant little plays
The act of love completed with contentment in your eye
I heard the softest moon breath slowly slip into a sigh
