Morning chorus

Morning chorus

Now the morning has erupted when the blackbird on the wall
Serenades his dark brown lady and his children with his call.
For his singing is so beautiful the sun just has to rise
Bringing silver flecks of magic to the poet’s weary eyes.
The great-tit joins the chorus for he is glad to see the sun
And the sparrows start to chuckle as they hear the music spun
I am waiting for the song thrush since I know he loves to sing
In this chorus of my garden birds at last my dreams take wing

Author notes
I thought it was bound to be rough as I wrote it hardly able to open my eyes on
a tiny keyboard, but looks OK really.
