Mother Nature’s plans

I smiled at the world and succumbed to its passion
Allowed all its beauty to float though my mind
Saw that it loved in exemplary fashion
Then told it to leave all its woes far behind
I dusted its jacket and hung it for neatness
Ensuring the crust of the Earth wasn’t creased
I asked for its hat for the sake of completeness
And so I could see that its thoughts had not ceased
Tumbling waterfalls cascades of petals
Cloud stacks that look like a cake on a plate
Fishes that shine like most precious of metals
Nature untamed is unending and great
Living in poetry writing and dreaming
Falling in love with her natural scheming
