My Advice

I’ve always known the only rules that matter
Are rules you set yourself and can believe;
The book of human laws grows ever fatter
But merely lists the ways that men deceive.
If all you do makes life around you better,
And all you say makes everybody smile,
Humanity will always be your debtor
And sanity make breakout for a while.
No gods, or lords, or foolish, politicians,
Just simply knowing what is right and wrong;
We shouldn’t need another man’s permissions
To find the way that we can get along.
To sum it up I offer this advice,
The world’s a better place if you are nice!
