You find a bowl of Ben and Jerry’s
Now you’re guaranteed a treat
Each spoonful stuffed with nuts and cherries
Cold and smooth and tart and sweet
Or maybe simple suits you better
Häagen-Dazs explodes with taste
But go and buy a baggy sweater
Either brand goes to the waist
Home made chocolate, flavours tripled
Clotted cream and toffee chips
Smooth vanilla, raspberry rippled
Lasts a lifetime on the hips
We have to pay a price for pleasure
Life’s a bitch or so they say
Sin in haste repent at leisure
I like living life this way!
