The Moon looks down and asks me how I feel
To know my love and I are far apart
She knows my dreams so knows my love is real
But distance cannot break a loving heart
The Moon looks down and whispers in my mind
That she will carry all my love to you
This goddess of the night is sweet and kind
You’ll know that all she says to you is true
I wish the Moon could carry me away
And set me down outside your door tonight
So you and I could pass the night in play
United by the Moon’s reflected light
Now when the Moon is full you are with me
The Magic that she weaves can set us free
