My kind of non-confromist!

My kind of non-confromist!

Dalaney who’s free verse sets me ablaze
Will I’m sure astound in coming days
She has just begun to write in perfect form
I hope that it is not a passing craze

She helped my friend to write in hot free verse
And never once descended to a curse
Everything she writes is fresh and warm
Her po-ems are compact but never terse

I wish that I could see Savannah skies
The way that they are seen through Laney’s eyes
A perfect sunrise or Atlantic storm
Would she think my trip a nice surprise?

I hope one day that I’ll see you perform
Dalaney I hope you will not conform!
Author notes
And still playing with forms, this time there is no developing intersection
just aaba ccbc ddbd bb rhyme but again sonnet-like.
