No excuses possible

There is no child deserving of abuse.
No victim who it’s right to beat and rape.
The men who use these words as an excuse
Are lower far than any sort of ape.
No “dirty slutty children” are to blame,
Such terms were never part of children’s lore.
Those who call the victims by such name
Merely help the guilty dodge the law.
If you were used and damaged as a child
Or beaten and abused while loving wife.
You and the truth must first be reconciled
Before you can be given back your life.
The child or wife should never bear the stains
No guilt for what was done to them remains.

I wrote this in a comment to that piece. Please read it, it is much more
important and worthy of reading than my work here.
I have no experience of abuse, and find it very hard to conceive of how it is
possible for any man to behave in such a way.
