Not getting home!

I was stuck in enforced contemplation
Too far from my home destination
It’s hard to approve
When the train doesn’t move
And the heat causes more aggravation
At last we got into a station
Before we caused vast devastation
We kicked up a fuss
That there wasn’t a bus
Which would have been small compensation
Then stung by the crowd’s desperation
And wishing to stop its inflation
They stopped an express
To clear up the mess
At home there was tea for salvation!
