On difficult days
my eyes seem to see words that aren’t there
instead of those that are
semicolons evaporate
tabs become spaces and commas full stops
on difficult days variables undeclare themselves
certificates expire early
the keys on my keyboard stick
and my screen font is just a teeny bit too small
On difficult days
the BLOODY COMPUTER
WON’T
BLOODY WELL
WORK
