The husband came for free
There’s discord in their little flat
As you can plainly see
The cat is cute but makes a mess
The husband won’t agree
The cat is worth it more or less
Declaring “him or me”
She really loves that little cat
Oh what a quandary
Who would have thought a thing like that
Could threaten harmony
So man or cat she cannot choose
Which one it has to be
