On Santa’s sleigh the bells are always ringing
And “Ho Ho Ho”s are heard at every hour
The back seat’s filled with happy elven singing
On Santa’s sleigh
While far below some homes are grey and dour
The air is filled with heartless insult slinging
Another night when everything seems sour
A spiral turn, and trails of stars are swinging
No humbug’s home can hope to stand this power
One day’s reprise is what today is bringing
On Santa’s sleigh
