One in a million

A million pebbles rolling on the beach
But only one is smoother than a pearl,
The perfect words that make a Shakespeare speech
Could not conspire to illustrate my girl.
Ten thousand trees link arms to make a wood
But only one is brushed with liquid fire.
The beauty that Van Goch first understood
Is given life in eyes that I desire.
One single heart is all I have to give,
Though thousands more beat faster as you pass.
You’ve Michelin-starred the recipe I live
And water’s now ambrosia in my glass.
I beat the odds and won the lottery —
The moment that you gave yourself to me.

And yes it didn’t rhyme until I fixed it, sorry!
