Perhaps I’ll sit and write acrostic’ly
Exactly how I feel about this game
Requiring me to think artistic’ly
Vituperating he who is to blame
Important truths will have to be ignored
Cannot allow the facts to cloud my mind
Acrostics often leave the reader bored
Calamities of verse are all they’ll find
I never ought to write such dreadful lines
Outrageous rubbish isn’t poetry
Unusual words don’t prove your talent shines
So never let such tosh be seen from me
Loquaciousness and meter matched by rhyme
You know that missing those is just a crime
