Pirouetting

I hope that every end’s a new beginning,
Tomorrow can be better than today.
A life’s a better game when you are winning
And everyone can win it, if they play.
We occupy ourselves in finding answers,
To questions that we don’t yet understand.
The Yin and Yang are pirouetting dancers;
Performing to the music of the band.
A chance encounter leads to many changes;
The path you’re walking takes another turn.
The certainty you live by, rearranges,
Another set of rules you need to learn.
Since we first met I’ve found new ways to roam,
And life’s no longer lived in monochrome.
