The poetry I feel inside
I have decided not to hide
Before in life I sort of lied
And always spoke in prose
The poetry I feel within
Is really where I can begin
To start to play and maybe win
It’s not that way with prose
The poetry I’m letting out
May just be brash or full of doubt
But either way I want to shout
It’s poetry not prose
My poetry won’t hurt a soul
Happy people are my goal
When they are happy I am whole
And I won’t need my prose
If you like it tell me so
Or say you’d like for me to go
Either way please let me know
