I wonder what’s the point of sonnet forms
They’re just a set of silly little norms
I’m sure that Shakespeare really didn’t care
I sit and write in this or that rhyme scheme
Find some are hard and some just like a dream

I’ve never tried this oddish one before
I don’t think that I’ll write it any more
It really isn’t one I want to share
With two pentains of couplets and a link
I’m not impressed what will the reader think?

But now I’m past the start must find an end
With alternating rhyme I should do well
I’m pretty sure you’re hating this my friend
But leave a comment if you’d like to tell
