The catalyst beyond compare
Amongst the rarest on the Earth
Some asteroids have brought their share
What is it worth?

Unmarked by any acid stains
This noble metal’s always white
When gold has melted she remains
Pure silver white

Not soft to touch wrought gold
But hard unyeilding diginity
To hold a diamond rare and bold
Not let it free

A ring that never wears away
And will not bend when crushed or hit
It symbolises love to stay
And never split

The smallest piece is worth a mint
And yet I know that what I’d do
Abandon it at any hint
To just hold you
