Putin\’s Poem

Putin’s Poem

President Putin is always disputin’
The way the world should be
He doesn’t like others to side with his brothers
When they desire to be free
Since he’d hate to see a non-Russian Crimea
     Decided he should act
He drummed up a letter and didn’t forget a
     Freshly invented fact
The rush to disaster gets faster and faster
     With Putin on the charge
So best keep a mike on the famous gay icon
     His ego’s now at large
Right in their hosts’ faces his troops seized the bases
     And several airports too
Tell Europe “Don’t worry, we’re not in a hurry
To do the same to you!”

Author notes
I think the music in my head that this fits is the last bit of “Blaze Away” can
anyone confirm?
