When poetry needs passion there’s a girl who pens the words
She struts her stuff in Texas day by day
Her pen can spear injustice or can rival singing birds
And in between she finds the time to play
She’ll spin a shadow sonnet that’s acrostic at both ends
Campaign to end abuse in every land
Then send some tender loving to the ears of grieving friends
And write the lines that lovers understand
A picture of a dying swan in concrete poetry
Collaborate with girls to melt the site
A tender sexy sonnet that’s composed with Timothy
Then tempt her male admirers with “goodnight”
English
