Upon the windows raindrops flow
From up above to down below
They really make an awful din
As they seem to try to get within
I’m going to lunch I’ll almost drown
The amount of water coming down
Summer’s gone, it never came
And that must be a crying shame
Each day I hear the same refrain
A cloudy day and rain rain rain
