Reflections

I think that I should really know that I
Do not react the way that others do
Why do I never stop to ask just why
You other folk are so much more like you
No way should I forget the things I know
Be more alert to how they want to be
Show more respect than I need them to show
See all the ways that they want me to see
Shut up my mouth and learn to keep it shut
That must be what I’d say about all that
But I am more inclined to leave my butt
Sat squarely where it never should be sat
Reflect upon the way that things reflect
Correct yourself and try to act correct
