It can’t be wrong to wish that I’d a pair of lips to kiss
Two arms to cuddle up in, that’s the sweetest thing I miss.
A friend is just fantastic and I’d always want for more
But nothing beats a lover you can worship and adore

It can’t be wrong to ponder on the way that life has gone
And think of destinations of the trains that you’re not on
If I had known you sooner would I still be here today
I’d love to have a lover who would carry me away

It can’t be wrong, this dreaming and the words and more we share
You’ve shown me I am wanted and that life is everywhere
It maybe doesn’t change things but it changes me inside
That there’s somebody somewhere who thinks love’s too good to hide

It can’t be wrong, it must be right, to want another chance
To look for what I’m missing and to learn again to dance
Two arms to cuddle up in that’s the sweetest thing I miss
It can’t be wrong to wish that I’d a pair of lips to kiss
