Twenty six? You think that’s tough!
You haven’t been around enough.
Double up then start to worry,
Life is going in a hurry.
In your twenties have some fun,
Birthday treats from every one.
Do it well and then for weeks –
Walking round with rosy cheeks.

Twenty six and feeling blue?
What is it that’s bugging you?
Age is only how you feel,
Take a man out for a meal.
Hit the clubs and have a dance,
Buy a ticket, take a chance.
Do it well and then for weeks –
Walking round with rosy cheeks

Twenty six no age at all,
All your problems seem so small.
Piece of cake, a glass of wine,
Kiss some lips (I hope they’re mine).
Go with friends to drink and joke.
Stick your tongue out, tease some bloke.
Do it well and then for weeks –
Walking round with rosy cheeks.

Twenty six, what fuss you make.
Ask a friend to bake a cake,
Candles lit and then blown out,
Birthday wishes in a shout.
Time is right to play a game,
If you lose don’t take the blame!
Do it well and then for weeks –
Walking round with rosy cheeks

Twenty six, wish that was me!
That means shedding twenty three…
I’d be finding lots to do,
Maybe even chasing you!
Hit the town or see a show,
Has to be some place to go.
Do it well and then for weeks –
Walking round with rosy cheeks.
