Saving the world!

When greenhouse gasses are the main debate
A revolution hardly yet begun
Some say that nuclear power can be great
But fusion is the force that powers the sun
The winds and tides could yield a bumper crop
Of energy to run our wasteful ways
For some a waterwheel will come out top
Or solar energy on sunny days
We have to find an answer to the plight
Or watch as cities sink beneath the sea
We don’t need coal and oil to light the light
At least that’s how the problem seems to me
Don’t shrug and think it’s someone else’s job
Unless of course you’re just an idle slob
