Schooldays

A Dinosaur went out one day
To try to find a friend to play
But all his friends had gone to school
The Dinosaur felt such a fool
The Dinosaur then asked his dad
“I didn’t think that I’d been bad,
I’m sure I followed every rule
So why am I not let in school?”
His Mum and Dad then knew that they
Would have to go to school next day
The teacher said that he could go
And learn the things he ought to know
The Dinosaur sets off each day
To go to school and learn and play
The teacher shows the children how
The Dinosaur’s not lonely now!
