I caught a glimpse of every man’s delight
Across the lake they sat amongst the rocks
With games and laughter as they dried their locks
Three laughing fairies bathed in silver light
I dared not move or I might lose the sight
Revealed by moonbeams turning night to day
No man could look at them then turn away
Three laughing fairies bathed in silver light
The laughter turned to tiny screams of fright
And thunder clouds were rolled across the sky
The moon appeared to know that they were shy
Three laughing fairies bathed in silver light
I caught a glimpse of every man’s delight
Three laughing fairies bathed in silver light
