Smashing Times

Destruction’s often sadly under-rated
But who can smash a pot and stay unmoved
A large balloon explosively deflated
Is almost universally approved
We took eight bowls and twice as many plates
Three hammers and a concrete patio
Invited several discontented mates
And one by one we let emotions flow
One night of noise can’t undo history
But if you need to find a swift release
Don’t dig around to find an ancient mystery
Just fill your lungs and rip apart the peace
I saw your spirit standing proud and tall
When three white bowls careened into the wall!
