Somebody’s Missing

I’m not sure what it is but something’s missing
Can anybody help me with my quest?
I’m sitting in the garden reminiscing
But part of me feels strangely dispossessed
I thought that maybe I should get some dinner
An empty feeling’s nagging at my mind
A part of me believes I’m getting thinner
I’ve left my belly bulges far behind.
Will you join me in silent introspection
Look deep inside to see what you can find?
I hope that I discover on reflection
That what we think we see is in the mind.
If beauty’s all around and deep within
It really doesn’t matter if I’m thin.
