Something is affecting my eyes

I tried to join your contest but I couldn’t see the screen
To discriminate against me would I think be rather mean
Its not as though I’ve other pleasures, nothing to be seen
There must be a simple reason I’ve gone blind
Perhaps your little picture that I just see as a blur
Tells you of the way things are and not the way they were
But I’m afraid its meaning I will have to just infer
There is something that has made my eyes go bad…
Now if you should read my entry and you can treat my ills
Then it could be that the both of us are in for lots of thrills!
