Strange weather

Strange weather

I am sitting in my office looking out at London’s rooves
And up above the sky is darkest grey
An aircraft underneath the clouds has left two long white grooves
Shining to remind us that it’s day
The sun is very low and shining underneath the clouds
So now the ground is lighter than the sky
The whole effect is very strange, the world is upside down
I’m glad I’m not just learning how to fly
Author notes
I know the plural of roof is roofs but it is usually pronounced rooves and has
to be here.
