A sirloin steak with Yorkshire pud
And then banoffee pie
Some days you think the World is good
Despite the cloud-filled sky
With family and chat beside
I’m glad I took this little ride
The steak was tender, succulent
The pie had ice-cream too
A meal that did all it was meant
By Mum and Dad to do
It’s nice to eat with family
Especially when the food is free
Now I am full I feel replete
A warm and sleepy mood
No Sunday afternoon’s complete
Without such tasty food
A cup of tea? A ginger snap
And then perhaps a little nap …
