It’s,Sunday night the weekend’s done
There’s no time left for having fun
It’s off to bed, then sleep, then rise
Wipe mute resentment from my eyes
Get dressed, eat breakfast, find a train
Complain about the stress and strain.
The same performance every week
I ought to act not merely speak.
I could be free quite easily
Just win the bloody lottery!
