The harshest fairest judge on all AP
Whose contests always seen to set the pace
I sit and stare upon your lovely face
And as I do I see you smile at me
Your smiling seems to set my muses free
And then my poetry will gather pace
Another of your contests I shall grace
Oh lovely lady sat in Italy
What can I say of you except your name
You try to hide the rest of you from all
So mystery will always be your friend
But I will be the equal to your game
As I’ve been equal to your sonnet call
I’ll see Italian skies before the end
Author notes
Is it cheating to use your name as a word to describe you?
I know no better one, please feel free to disqualify, or just leave it in but
do not judge it, this is written purely for you, not for gold or points.
To get all formal I could claim it is an Italian (Pertrachan) style sonnet.
