Teacher’s pests

Each student finds a different way to learn
And none of them are right and none are wrong
The greatest teachers know how to discern
The path they need to lead their class along
For some a book and silence is the way
Osmosis seems to carry every thought
Another mind can only learn through play
Not grasping abstract concepts bravely taught
Or laughter, helps to oil unwilling wheels
Unsparked by words that drone into his ears
Until you learn how every student feels
You cannot hope to mentor to your peers
Do not assume that your way is the best
It may be near the worst for all the rest
