To everyone

As the year is nearly done
And it’s time to have some fun.
Take a glass of wine or beer
And let it bring you lots of cheer.
All of those who love or like me
And anyone who would not strike me
Come inside and grab a seat
Take the weight off from your feet
We’ll drink and chat and pass the time,
Tell a story, quote a rhyme.
Before we head off for the night
We’ll have put the whole world right.
At this time, in every year,
We grab a glass that’s full of cheer
And wish to friends, both old and new
