And all I have to do is close my eyes
To let your words caress and make me smile
I know that I shall find some sweet surprise
That takes me somewhere new to spend a while
It doesn’t matter how you choose to write
I read your work because I love your mind
I take you to all to bed with me at night
To see what brand new dreams you’ll help me find
Though each of you can change the way I feel
I never want to change the way you are
The worlds you write are magical and real
Along their paths I’ve wondered wide and far
I read so many others every day
But you are all the friends I ask to stay
