Too Much to See

On days like these I need a second telly,
A Sunday with a grand prix and a test.
Young Hamilton applies a heavy welly
While England try to prove they’re now the best.
Remote controls have made the changing easy,
Give lesser spotted channel hoppers bliss,
Too rapid flips can leave you feeling queasy
But go too slow and there’s too much you’ll miss.
I can’t believe the rate that wickets tumble,
Then Vettel spins, Alonso overtakes.
Flick back again to watch the spinners stumble
Thank goodness for the advertising breaks.
And worse than all the rest of this to me,
Is there’s no time to make a cup of tea!
