The touch of lips upon your lips when you’re not quite awake
A brush of fingertips that say goodbye
A squeeze of reassurance when you choose which road to take
A hand that finds a place to make you shy
It’s in each little tiny touch that love can change your mind
Two lips on sleeping eyelids or a pat on the behind
A body pressed against you when you think you just need rest
Or hands that hold your hands along the way
The fingers that meet in your hair each time you kiss her breast
Two arms around your waist to make you stay
It’s in these touches of desire that love can take a hold
When two hearts touch each other there’s a wagonload of gold
Don’t ever cease to touch your love to hold her as your prize
And let her know her touch is what you need
You show her how you feel in how her touch is met with sighs
A touch can turn a thought into a deed
To stay in love forever make your lover’s touch your guide
It’s in the touches lovers share that hurts are brushed aside
