Trick or treat!

If she comes trick or treating
Then I know I’m picking treat
They do not reach this standard
When I see them in my street
Sweets or chocs or candy
Are the smallest price to pay
If that sort of trick-or-treater
Comes along to make your day!
She says she wants some chocolate
So I’d have to ask her in
To let her choose her favourites
From all I have within
All the best come wrapped up
So she’d unwrap them to try
And to see this girl unwrapping
Would be candy for the eye!
There isn’t any reason
Not to give this girl a treat
It appears the proper season
To give presents to the sweet
So If you should chance to see her
Or she’s knocking on your door
Please be sure to tell her
Where I am to give her more!
