The best of life in thoughts of kissing you,
To hold you tight and fly you to the Moon.
Each hour apart I dream of what I’d do
While we were making love all afternoon.
The best of life in echoes of your voice,
The tales you weave that take my breath away.
Some other world, where I can live my choice,
Exists in dreams I have of you each day.
The best of life will someday be my own,
For now I’ll be content with my travail.
I live each day surrounded but alone,
My heart held safe inside a hidden jail.
My life and dreams were changed the day I knew,
For me the best of life, is loving you.
