The Black Widow

Her flirting words were only meant to tease him
With promise of a deep romantic thrill
But everything she offered seemed to please him
So with a smile she claimed another kill
Another trophy joins her grim collection
More memories to savour in her dreams
Now every man who failed to reach perfection
Lives on in silent echoes of his screams
In widow’s weeds she baits her tender trap
Perhaps you’ll be her next misguided chap!
