The dancing rose

My fingers strayed beneath my dancer’s dresses
The inspiration made her dancing wild
The music played in time to my caresses
And all the time my Texan dancer smiled

I filled her bra with lots of folded dollars
But truth to tell there wasn’t too much room
I tweaked her peaks and listened for the hollers
And revelled in her spreading sweet perfume

My dancer seemed to me the best of roses
Her beauty far outshone her sharpened thorns
The whispered hints of pleasure she proposes
Have given me the hardest of all horns

My lips meet lips to greet the final chord
And then my dancer falls upon my sword!
