The Definitive Dinner Party

My sister and her nineteen friends were sitting on the floor,
My parents, and my brother too, with me and sixteen more.
To feed this largish party we had beef and other stuff
The whole was fairly tasty but the meat was much too tough.
I gazed upon my fellows and my thoughts on language brewed
One word summed up our patience, all together …
Forty Chewed!
