They say you cannot win at cards if you don’t have the hand
Sometimes you beat a straight with just queen high
There are so many players who will never understand
A skillful hand is quicker than the eye
With just one man you cannot beat an army, so they say
These men have clearly never seen you fight
The game is never over while the ball is still in play
One man can score if he just plays it right
So when you hit rock bottom and your friends are blaming you
It’s just because they cannot see your soul
The world may turn against you there is just one thing to do
You stand and fight until once more you’re whole
